  1. Control the dust. Allergies are almost always aggravated by exposure to dust. And, maybe you didn’t realize this, but dust can actually contain hazardous chemicals. Believe it or not, dust can hold chemicals from decades past if you don’t have it under control. Get rid of your carpeting as a best bet for getting the dust under control.
  2. Quit smoking. You know we’re not the first people to tell you this. And, studies show that about 40% of today’s kids are exposed to second hand smoke. This can trigger asthma in them. Besides, smoking is costing you a lot of money. Plus, it will eventually cost you more in healthcare bills. There are all kinds of help programs out there to give you the support you need to quit.
